Business Unit Summary
The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for planning and executing systems integration testing for single application projects. They will work with the project team to understand requirements in order to develop comprehensive written test plans to effectively test new functionality. This individual will ensure all defects are identified, documented, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner. They will work with the product owner and scrum master to estimate testing effort and report status of testing progress during the testing phase of the project.
A Day in the Life
•Work with product owner, subject matter experts, and development team to create comprehensive written test plans and test cases ensuring negative test cases are considered.
•Provision data required to execute test cases.
•Execute test plans for new functionality and perform regression testing
•Create/track defects and provide developers with details required to reproduce and resolve defects
•Document and communicate test results and metrics
•Participate in requirement and design reviews to ensure test plans are traceable to requirements.
•Provide feedback to project team on testability of requirements
•Provide users with list of testing prerequisites prior to user acceptance testing
•Assist with env setup/changes as needed.
•Partner with team members to maintain and update regression tests.
•Help identify test cases that should be imported into regression test plans.
•Work with the Product Owner to estimate testing efforts
•Review test plans with the development team and the business
•Validate changes in production during deployment
•Provide assistance with testing production support related issues as needed

• Basic computer skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Proven application testing experience
• Basic knowledge of at least one software development lifecycle methodologies
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies

• Experience with testing and/or configuring Oracle’s XStore POS application
• Basic SQL skills
• Familiarity with test case management software and/or test automation software
